NeighborGood Design Expands to Support More Underrepresented Small Businesses
NeighborGood Design launched in 2020 as a way to help combat inequality — providing complimentary creative services to small business owners of color in the greater Rochester area. Since the program was established, we’ve had the privilege of helping a range of businesses share their most authentic selves with the world, from photographers, restaurants and boutiques to career services providers and consulting firms.
“This has given us an opportunity to brand ourselves and give us a renewed sense of who we are and have that reflected in this amazing new branding,” said Beyond Boundaries Consulting, who received a suite of new branding materials through the program. “We are so excited to put this new branding on everything! Thank you so much to everyone on the team and this opportunity to work with us.”
Now in its third year, NeighborGood Design is expanding its scope to support even more businesses throughout our community. We look forward to working with any women and minority-owned businesses in Rochester — including but not limited to businesses whose owners are BIPOC, women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

NeighborGood Design is one of several initiatives inside and outside Partners + Napier seeking to stand against injustice and inequality. This program is offered in partnership with the Rochester Area Community Foundation’s NeighborGood Grants program, which has distributed more than $800,000 since 1992 to help stabilize, strengthen, and enrich Rochester neighborhoods.
